actually, I am not myself going on vacation - (though it sounds nice) more of a comment on the George Bush five week Crawford special.
Heck, when was the last time Bush took that much vacation in late summer... August 2001?

Sadly, yes. Not so much the working part, but that I don't get paid to do what I love most.
Bush, of course, does get paid to do what he loves most - fish his stocked mud pond, cut brush that doesn't need cutting, stride to his heli... it goes on.
Bush goes to Crawford in Texas in August to torture the press corps 1 month a year, that tortures him the other 11 months.
